Sales reporting templates for product & service businesses

Know what is selling. Know what will close. Know what to do next.

DMS Sales Reporting Packs turn sales activity, customers, products, pipeline and commercial performance into clear management reports. Choose the edition that matches how your business sells — Product & Commerce or Service Business.

Both editions use standalone editable PowerPoint charts — right-click → Edit Data → replace the sample figures.

Sales reporting that answers management questions

Your sales team should explain the business behind the number.

A useful sales report should not stop at “we sold ₦X” or “we spoke to Y prospects.” Management needs to understand what moved, why it moved, what is at risk, what the next period is likely to deliver and what action is required.

Activity without commercial clarity

  • Revenue is reported without product, client or channel explanation.
  • Pipeline activity is shown without probability, timing or conversion quality.
  • Receivables, returns, complaints or renewal risk sit outside the sales story.
  • Management hears what happened but not what should happen next.

DMS turns sales data into management intelligence

  • Compare actual performance with target, budget and prior periods.
  • Show the products, stores, clients, proposals or service lines driving results.
  • Connect sales performance to cash, risks, execution and customer evidence.
  • Finish every major review with recommendations, decisions, owners and deadlines.
Choose the edition that matches how you sell

Two sales reporting packs. One clear decision.

The reporting rhythm is similar, but the commercial questions are different. Product businesses need SKU, store and channel visibility. Service businesses need pipeline, proposal, booking and renewal visibility.

“What will close, renew or convert next?”

Choose Service Business if pipeline, proposals, contracts, bookings, subscriptions, retainers or renewals drive revenue.

Frequently asked questions

Sales Reporting Pack FAQ

Do I need both sales editions?

No. Choose the edition that matches your main commercial model. Businesses that sell both products and services can use both without mixing incompatible metrics.

Can the Product & Commerce pack be used for B2B and B2C?

Yes. It includes account/store reporting, B2B pipeline, retail/distribution, D2C and e-commerce views.

Can the Service Business pack work outside consulting?

Yes. Rename fields such as proposal, booking, client and service line to quote, tender, subscription, enrolment, programme, route, contract or another term used in your business.

Are the PowerPoint charts editable?

Yes. Both editions use standalone native PowerPoint charts. Buyers can right-click and use Edit Data without relying on external Excel links.

Is this a CRM or sales software replacement?

No. DMS is a management-reporting system. Use your CRM, ERP, e-commerce platform or source files to provide the underlying data, then use the DMS structure to report and interpret it.

Can I customise the reports for my industry?

Yes. The templates use editable sample content and generic business fields so buyers can adapt the language, products, clients, channels, territories and commercial KPIs.

What does your sales team need to understand better?

Choose the edition that matches the way your business earns revenue. Then use the store landing page to see the full report suite and purchase the right pack.
